( since I don't have a spatula, I used an old butter knife.)

Thanks, Ilike that with oil there is more color depth, but it takes too long to dry, which is why I will probably use acrylic because I am so impatient plus oil requires specific cleaning for the brushes, whereas soap and water for acrylic.
