Living Backstreet

A comfortable place to view life, opinions, art and music. We are a world in transition; we need each other to survive. "Yes, and I long for one thing more: to learn how to listen to the delicate vibrations of my soul, to be incorruptibly true to myself and fair to others..."from An Awakening Spirit

About Me

My photo
Living Backstreet
Mission Viejo, California, United States
Still here after all these years; Bahai, artist, poet, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, friend. I am approaching 80 years of age and spent my younger days as a struggling jazz singer when not struggling as a a single mom. Three years ago, I had a stroke which took away my singing voice but being ever creative, I decided I would enjoy abstract acrylic art and I have been painting every day since. And of course creating my new endeavor, my STEAMPUNK jewelry; I hope you like my efforts, my style is not for everyone. i am grateful for every day and hope to live to see some success with my art. thank you for taking a look. you may wish to check out my gallery at Art Hatch.com ps; the tat on my shoulder is a hummingbird in memory of my daughter Lisa.
